Job Title: Lead Construction Estimator

Location: Remote

Shift Timings: 3 PM to 11 PM

Role:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual, with a passion for Construction and Real estate development, to join our team as a Construction Estimator. You will be involved in studying bid documents, inviting subcontractors, and preparing scope of work.

Responsibilities:

• Studying Bid Documents: Review bid documents to understand the project requirements and specifications; this includes architectural and engineering drawings, project manuals, and any additional instructions
• Inviting Subcontractors: Reaching out to subcontractors and suppliers to gather quotes and pricing information for different aspects of the project
• Performing Takeoffs: Quantifying the materials and labor required for a construction project
• Creating Detailed Databases: Maintaining databases of cost information for materials, labor, and equipment, which they use to generate accurate estimates
• Preparing the Scope of Work: Define the tasks and responsibilities of all parties involved in the construction project and work closely with project managers and clients to ensure the scope is well-defined

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with preferred fields of study in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, Finance, Statistics, or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong knowledge of US construction drawings, standards other technical documents, including studying bid documents, inviting subcontractors, performing takeoff creating detailed database, and preparing the scope of work
• Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, On-screen takeoffs and Plan swift; Revit knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of USA- CSI Division
• 5-8 years of Construction Estimation experience
